Product Features

1. Scope

Explosion-proof analysis huts are used in the production of oil refining, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, and light industries to provide a safe on-site installation space and protection for various online process gas analyzers and online water quality analyzers.

2. Hut Dimensions

Manufactured according to user needs. Generally represented by the external dimensions of the hut: 3000mm (length) × 3000mm (width) × 3000mm (height).

The hut is a non-standard product, and its size can be determined according to the number and type of analyzers, the complexity of the system, and the operation and maintenance space, and appropriate space should be reserved. Due to limitations in long-distance transportation, the external dimensions are generally as follows:

Length: Outdoor main body 2.5~6.5m (considering the standard steel size and the hoisting, transportation structural strength issues, the length of a single analysis hut should not exceed 6.5m. If the length is 6.5m, a combined structure can be used, made in separate parts, and assembled on-site after transportation. Two analysis huts can also be used to achieve this).

Width: Outdoor main body 2.5m, the maximum width should not exceed 3.0m (due to highway transportation width restrictions, the width should not exceed 3.0m).

Height: Outdoor main body 2.5~3.0m (due to height restrictions when passing overpasses and tunnels), indoor net height 2.2~2.8m.

3. Hut Mechanical Structure and Material Requirements

⑴ Frame, base and roof

The frame, base, and roof of the analysis hut are metal components, welded from steel sections, and should have sufficient strength and rigidity to ensure that the analysis hut does not deform during loading, lifting, shifting, and transportation. The main frame of the base should use 12#~20# channel steel, and two 10#~12# channel steels or I-beams should be used as support beams under the floor joists. The main frame, floor joists, and support beams should be welded together to ensure that the floor does not vibrate when maintenance personnel walk inside. The roof frame and main beams should use 10#~12# channel steel, and 8#~10# channel steel should be used as main beams and roof joist supports in the width direction, all of which should be welded together to prevent twisting and deformation. The roof should have a certain slope, with a slope of at least 4%, and can be A-shaped or a single-slope structure. Flat roofs are not allowed to prevent rainwater accumulation.

⑵ Inner and outer walls and inner and outer roof panels

The outer wall panels should be made of 1.5mm~2.0mm steel plate. A ∏-shaped plate assembly structure can be used to form the outer wall. If the welding process can be guaranteed, a ribbed galvanized steel plate welding structure can also be used to form the outer wall. The outer wall panels using the ∏-shaped plate assembly structure should use stainless steel plates (304SS, stainless steel brushed film plates are recommended), or galvanized steel plates. When using galvanized steel plates, surface spraying treatment must be performed, and the spraying color is white or international gray.

The inner wall panels and ceiling should be made of 1.5mm~2.0mm steel plate. The materials for the two-worker electrical hut use galvanized steel plate or cold-rolled steel plate, and stainless steel plate can also be used according to user requirements. When using galvanized steel plate or cold-rolled plate, surface spraying treatment must be performed. Spraying colors: the ceiling is white gloss paint, and the inner wall panels are white matte paint. The roof panels must have effective rainproof design, and can use a snap-on assembly rainproof design or a flat welding rainproof design. The material uses 1.5mm~2.0mm stainless steel plate to ensure the long-lasting corrosion resistance of the roof surface, and the external roof load-bearing capacity ≥250kg/m2 (the weight of two people) without deformation.

⑶ Insulation layer

Flame-retardant insulation materials (rock wool, etc.) are filled between the inner and outer walls and the inner and outer tops. The insulation layer thickness is generally 70~75mm (3in), and it should be increased to 80~85mm in extremely cold or hot areas.

⑷ Floor

The floor should be a non-slip metal plate, preferably made of 4~6mm steel plate. According to user requirements, the material can use patterned stainless steel plate, or patterned galvanized steel plate or hot-rolled steel plate. When using galvanized steel plate or hot-rolled plate, surface spraying treatment must be performed, and the spraying color is generally gray. An anti-static plastic plate can be added if necessary.

Dead corners and grooves where gas may accumulate should be avoided inside the hut. Appropriate manual or automatic vents should be opened at high and low points of the hut to prevent gas accumulation. The sample pretreatment unit, carrier gas cylinder, standard gas cylinder, and laboratory manual sampling points should be located outside the hut.

4. Hut Power Supply

The lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, and maintenance sockets of the analysis hut are powered by industrial power.

5. Safety Detection and Alarm System of the Analysis Hut

Combustible gas detector: Select products with an integrated detection probe and signal transducer structure. Toxic gas detector: When the sample or surrounding gas contains toxic components, a toxic gas detection alarm is required, with the same requirements as the combustible gas detection alarm.

Differential pressure transducer: The analysis hut installs a different number of differential pressure transducers according to the internal volume to detect the positive pressure in the analysis hut. The principle of the signal provided by the differential pressure transducer to the PLC controller is 3 out of 2, that is, the PLC controls the power cut-off of non-explosion-proof electrical equipment in the analysis hut through the pressure signal. If there are 3 differential pressure transducers in the hut, the PLC will only give the command to cut off the power of the non-explosion-proof electrical equipment in the hut when 2 or more simultaneously give a pressure value lower than the safety regulations. Audio-visual alarm devices, sirens, and warning lights (rotating flashing type) are installed outside the hut.

The explosion-proof alarm control box contains a small programmable logic controller (PLC or processor), and the panel has various indicator lights and buttons. Its function is to control the safety detection and alarm system, realize on-site alarm (inside and outside the hut), control room alarm, and interlocking functions (such as starting the fan and opening the instrument wind for ventilation).
